Nexus Pay faced critical latency issues during peak transactional hours, leading to a 15% drop-off rate at checkout. The legacy architecture was monolithic, making feature deployments risky and slow. Furthermore, the user interface lacked clarity in error messaging, eroding user trust during failed transactions.
The Solution
We initiated a migration to a microservices architecture, decoupling the payment gateway from the core user management systems. This allowed for independent scaling and resilient failure handling. Concurrently, the UI was stripped back to a minimalist aesthetic, focusing solely on the transactional path with high-contrast, unambiguous state indicators.
